Work, rooted in equity.

Economic & Policy Research

From the Congressional Budget Office and Johns Hopkins to the United Nations, applying econometric, geospatial, and macroeconomic methods to inequality, labor markets, and sustainable development.

My research practice sits at the intersection of macroeconomics, labor markets, and environmental policy, applying econometric, geospatial, and structural analysis to questions of inequality, climate risk, and sustainable development. I've worked across government, academic, and international institutions, translating complex data into policy-relevant findings for audiences from Capitol Hill to the United Nations.

At Johns Hopkins University, contributed to 2 NBER working papers on gender-based employment discrimination in Nigeria and applied geospatial modeling in R to quantify gas flare exposure and its socio-economic impacts across African regions.
At the Congressional Budget Office, collaborated with senior economists in the Tax Analysis Division to evaluate COVID-era policies influencing $500B in federal spending, using STATA to calculate the Gini coefficient from 2022 national income data.
As an intern at the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, contributed macroeconomic and structural policy analysis for the 2026 World Social Report, with a focus on global inequality, economic growth, and sustainable development.

Years of community-centered work at KIPP DC and The Sadie Collective, leading large-scale programming, partnerships, and data-driven initiatives to expand access to education and economic opportunity.

My nonprofit career spans education equity, economic access, and data-driven community development; managing large-scale programs, institutional partnerships, and frontline teams across Washington, DC and beyond. I've led initiatives from strategy through execution, consistently translating data into action and building systems with staying power.

At The Sadie Collective, managed a $150,000 Goldman Sachs Foundation grant to scale economic education across 9 U.S. states and 2 countries, growing institutional partnerships by 1,600% and directing the 2021 Sadie T.M. Alexander Conference, the organization's first virtual global conference with 500+ attendees.
At KIPP DC, designed and led a 3-year multi-tiered attendance intervention for 4,500 students across six schools, securing $15,000 in grant funding and using cross-stream data analysis to guide regional strategy on absenteeism and student outcomes.
As Senior Research & Data Consultant at BCDI-DC, produced 4 policy reports on the socio-economic conditions of Black children in Washington, DC, presenting findings at DC Council hearings, 5 community town halls, and translating the research into an interactive public dashboard.

Founder & Executive Director of The Brown Moon Project, advancing global climate policy analysis for Black, Brown, and Indigenous women, with a particular focus on the Global South.

As Founder and Executive Director of The Brown Moon Project, I built a research-driven nonprofit from the ground up, developing policy infrastructure, leading research teams, producing a two-season podcast, and coordinating community programs that center the lived experiences of Black, Brown, and Indigenous women in the design and critique of global climate policy.

Built a 100+ climate policy database spanning the U.S., South America, and Africa, and led a three-person research team conducting cross-national empirical analysis on climate risk, structural inequality, and socio-economic vulnerability for women in the Global South.
Convened 300+ community participants through institutional partnerships with Black in Environment, BlackOak Collective, The Village DC, DC DOEE, and Clean City DC; while building a public platform reaching 1,000+ social media followers through a climate policy glossary and resource library.
